On 2/14/2025 a site visit was held at Lock and Dam 2. Four (4) companies showed up for the site visit. There were J3 Enterprice, TPC, Vonco, And Minnesota Pump Works.

Background
The contract is issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the Lock and Dam #2 facility located in Hastings, MN. The mission of this contract is to replace the malfunctioning lift station control panel due to severe corrosion caused by a non-weather-tight enclosure.

The goal is to ensure reliable operation of the septic lift station controls, which are critical for maintaining the functionality of the facility.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, and labor necessary for the removal, disposal, and replacement of the lift station control panel at Lock and Dam No. 2. The new installation must include:
- A lockable, NEMA 4X rated stainless steel enclosure.
- A new 120V duplex pump lift station control panel with a humidity control system to prevent future corrosion.
- High Level Alarm System: An alarm system on its own circuit with features to test the alarm float (test/off/norm), an audible/visual alarm with test, silence, and reset features, and an external audible/visual high limit/malfunction alarm (minimum 80 dB visible from 100ft).
- Pump Controls and Indicators: Manual (hand)/off/auto switch for each pump, hour meter for each pump, separate indication lights for pump status, overload reset switches, and an alternating pump switch.
- Float Controls and Indicators: Switches for controlling lag and lead floats as well as a stop float switch.
- Other Features: Main service disconnect (120V 1-phase 60Amp max), a 120V GFCI convenience outlet, thermostat-controlled anti-condensation heater with overcurrent protection, and a minimum of 5 independent circuits with breakers/disconnects for each component (Pump1, Pump2, Alarm, Controls, Outlet).

The contractor must also provide an electrical schematic of installed equipment along with make/model/part numbers.
