Lab Gases Irvine Human and Animal Food Laboratory

Background
The Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Irvine Human and Animal Food Laboratory (IRVLHAF) has a requirement for Consumable Gases and Related Products. The IRVLHAF analyzes human and animal food to support FDA’s mission of protecting the American public health. To accomplish workplan goals, IRVLHAF requires commercially available consumable high purity and high-quality laboratory grade compressed gases, to operate laboratory scientific instruments. The results generated from the regulatory samples will be evaluated and used by the agency to implement regulatory actions and accomplish its mission.

Work Details
The Contractor shall supply and deliver various laboratory grade compressed gases to support IRVLHAF’s laboratory operations. Delivered products shall meet technical specifications and be delivered on-site within timeframes.
Orders will be placed on an as-needed basis with frequencies ranging from weekly to monthly. The contract includes line items for Consumable Gases and Related Products for a base year and four option years, with a total estimated value of $250,000.
The ordering period is five years, with a maximum dollar value of $250,000. The delivery schedule includes estimated frequencies ranging from monthly to quarterly, with specific delivery instructions provided.

Period of Performance
The contract shall have an Ordering Period of five years.
