This is for support services for 24 Job Corps centers in a variety of locations administered by the US Forest Service. Please see attached Statement of Work for details.

Background
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is issuing this contract for support services for 24 Job Corps centers, which are administered by the US Forest Service.

Job Corps is a national residential training and employment program aimed at addressing barriers to employment faced by disadvantaged youth aged 16 to 24. The program provides educational and occupational skills training, along with support services, to help youth transition into careers or further education. The USDA Forest Service operates these centers through an interagency agreement with the Department of Labor.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for several objectives aimed at enhancing the Job Corps program:
1. Sustain and expand the number of youth benefiting from Job Corps by discussing policy changes, providing forums for best practices in recruitment and retention, and increasing public awareness.
2. Ensure that Job Corps policies focus on positive student outcomes through quarterly meetings with DOL leadership to address issues facing Job Corps centers.
3. Broaden awareness of Job Corps by facilitating local outreach efforts, expanding social media presence, and engaging with national coalitions focused on opportunity youth and employers.
4. Publicize the successes of Job Corps students by collecting weekly alumni success stories, writing quarterly op-eds, and developing educational materials.
5. Engage the Job Corps community through annual meetings, biweekly newsletters, quarterly advisory committee calls, and professional development opportunities related to center management.
6. Expand the Job Corps community by cultivating relationships with employers and building an alumni network.

Period of Performance
Base Period: February 01, 2025 – January 31, 2026; Option Period One: February 01, 2026 – January 31, 2027; Option Period Two: February 01, 2027 – January 31, 2028; Option Period Three: February 01, 2028 – January 31, 2029; Option Period Four: February 01, 2029 – January 31, 2030.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations across the United States where the Job Corps centers are situated.
