JBLE Grounds Maintenance Services   2

Background
The contract is issued by the Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE) with the mission to provide grounds maintenance services at both Langley Air Force Base (LAFB) and Fort Eustis (FE).

The goal of this contract is to ensure habitat management in accordance with the JBLE Bird Aircraft Strike Hazard (BASH) plan, promote healthy growth of grass, trees, shrubs, and plants, and maintain a clean and professional appearance across the bases.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide non-personal services which include all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items necessary for grounds maintenance at JBLE.

Specific tasks include:
- Performing habitat management as per the JBLE BASH plan.
- Promoting growth of healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants.
- Ensuring a clean, neat, and professional appearance of the grounds.

Maintenance areas include approximately:
- 570 acres of improved grounds
- 268 acres of semi-improved grounds
- 106 acres of airfield grounds at JBLE-Eustis;
- 392 acres of improved grounds
- 90 acres of semi-improved grounds
- 764 acres of airfield grounds at JBLE-Langley.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from May 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025. Specific line items have varying durations within this timeframe ranging from 3 to 8 months.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis located in Virginia.
