Japanese Translation Service IDIQ for NAVFAC FE   4

Background
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Far East (NAVFAC FE) is responsible for providing life-cycle technical and acquisition solutions across the Far East Region, supporting Navy, Marine Corps, and DOD activities.

This contract aims to establish an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for Japanese translation and interpretation services to facilitate communication in support of NAVFAC FE's mission.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, facilities, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other items necessary to interpret and translate between Japanese and English.

The services will support various NAVFAC FE Directorates and Production Support Divisions in Japan. The contractor must manage the total work effort associated with these services to meet performance objectives and standards. A Quality Management (QM) Plan must be developed within 30 days of contract award to ensure service quality. The contractor's employees will be supervised by the contractor's management personnel at all times.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of 12 months with four additional 12-month option periods, totaling a potential performance period of 60 months if all options are exercised.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations throughout Japan and within NAVFAC FE’s Area of Responsibility.
