E3441 Engine Replace, Vale, OR   2

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is issuing this contract for the replacement of the E3441 Engine located in Vale, Oregon. The purpose of this contract is to obtain the necessary services, labor, and parts to restore the vehicle to operational status following a significant engine failure.

The BLM's mission includes managing public lands for multiple uses while ensuring the health of the land and its resources.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. Replacing the engine, including all associated labor.
2. Assembling the core engine for return.
3. Providing additional parts required for the engine replacement, which include: a drop-in remanufactured engine (MAXXFORCE DT EPA10), oil filter assembly kit, coolant (pre-mixed), synthetic automatic transmission fluid, seals, cable ties, radiator hoses, clamps, engine oil, U-joint strap kits, and an accessory drive belt.

All work must be performed by a certified Heavy Truck Mechanic and must meet original manufacturer specifications to ensure proper functionality.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on April 29, 2025, and conclude on June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the contractor's location within 300 miles of Vale, Oregon.
