Intent to Sole Source- AUL EBSCO Industries Inc

Background
The Air University Library (AUL) is seeking a subscription to the EBSCO database package to support the research needs of its students, faculty, and staff. This contract aims to provide essential academic resources for approximately 5,000 full-time equivalent students. The intent is to sole source this subscription to ensure that AUL can meet its educational mission effectively.

Work Details
The EBSCO database package must include the following components:
1. Academic Search Ultimate: Full text access to over 10,000 journals.
2. Business Source Ultimate: Full text access to approximately 3,600 titles.
3. MasterFILE Complete: Full text access to magazines and journals focused on education, health, general science, and current events.
4. Book Index with Reviews: Access to over 10 million book records and reviews for various media formats.
5. International Security & Counter Terrorism Reference Center: Full-text sources focusing on homeland security and counter-terrorism, including articles, books, and reports.
6. MasterFILE Reference eBook Collection: Reference books in business, health, education, and general science.
7. Military & Government Collection: Approximately 289 full text journal titles related to military and government news.
8. Serials Directory Database: Bibliographic and pricing data for over 108,000 publishers worldwide.
The subscription must provide unlimited online access for at least 5,000 FTE users from September 30, 2025, to September 29, 2026.
