HHS IHS - Enterprise IT Operations & Maintenance Sustainment - MRAS

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the General Services Administration (GSA), is seeking to conduct market research for Enterprise IT Operations and Maintenance (EIT O&M) services. This initiative is specifically aimed at supporting the Indian Health Service (IHS) in managing its IT infrastructure effectively. The overall goal of this contract is to ensure that IHS has robust, secure, and efficient IT operations that can support its healthcare delivery objectives across various locations.

The scope of work involves comprehensive IT management tasks necessary for maintaining and enhancing IHS's existing IT infrastructure. Key areas include Data Center Services, which encompass the management of physical and virtual servers, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. End User Services are also a critical component, focusing on providing technical support to users within the IHS network to ensure seamless access to necessary applications and services.

Additionally, the contract covers Storage Services for data management solutions that guarantee data integrity and accessibility; Compute Services that provide processing power for various applications; Application Services that involve managing software applications critical to IHS operations; Network Services ensuring reliable connectivity across all service locations; and Security & Compliance Services designed to protect sensitive health information against cyber threats while adhering to regulatory standards.

The administration of this contract will involve defined roles for government personnel who will oversee technical monitoring, inspection, acceptance processes, as well as manage any transition plans required during the contract period.
