Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for a maintenance service contract for Emergency Generators and Standby Generators at the Jack C Montgomery VA Medical Center located in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that the generators are properly maintained and tested to provide reliable emergency power to the medical center, especially given the current staff shortages in the facility's maintenance department. The contractor will be responsible for comprehensive preventative maintenance, repair services, and emergency support for these critical systems.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:
1. Provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary for preventative maintenance (PM), testing, and repair of Emergency Generators and Standby Generators.
2. Conduct routine PM tasks including visual inspections, battery checks, coolant level maintenance, fuel system checks, and generator control panel inspections.
3. Perform annual checks both with the engine running and not running to ensure operational integrity.
4. Supply parts and materials necessary for repairs up to $1000 per equipment; any costs exceeding this must be pre-approved by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
5. Respond to emergency repair requests within four hours.
6. Submit monthly schedules of planned maintenance activities and detailed reports after each service visit including technician details and work performed.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from January 15, 2026, to December 31, 2026, with options for four additional one-year periods.
