Description

The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Drum, NY is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm fixed-price requirements contract for the Boiler Inspections and Preventative Maintenance located at Fort Drum, NY.
The Government intends to award a single firm fixed-price requirements contract for the Inspection and Preventative Maintenance of Boilers located at various locations on Fort Drum, NY.
The successful Contractor shall provide services that would include but is not limited to the following: Provide all resources necessary to perform boiler tune-up services and inspections for approximately 330 boilers, with small boiler tune-ups to include adjustments made in order to optimize combustion efficiency of the unit(s) In Accordance With (IAW) procedures provided by the manufacturer and NYSDEC. This service includes adjustments made to the combustion process in order to optimize combustion efficiency of the unit IAW environmental requirements set forth by NYSDEC Policy DAR-5: Small Boiler Tune-Up Requirements for Nitrogen Oxides, Reasonably Available Control Technology (NOx RACT) Compliance.
Specialized Qualifications: All servicing, inspections and adjustments during the performance of this contract shall be performed by technicians trained IAW all applicable local and national codes, and shall meet the minimum requirements identified in section 227-2.2(b)(19) of NYSDEC Policy DAR-5.
The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238220- Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning, with a size standard of $15,000,000.00. This procurement is one hundred percent set-aside for Small Business concerns. As prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004, interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) under the NAICS 238220. Representations and certifications shall also be on record. These registrations can be done through the System for Award management (SAM) for free at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
Upon released to the public, the RFQ as well as any amendments will be available at the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website: https://acquisition.army.mil/afsi/solicitation. The RFQ will specify the actual date and time for quote receipt.
After the solicitation is posted, questions shall be submitted in writing via email to the Contract Specialist at kelly.s.taranto.civ@mail.mil. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference RFQ Number W911S215RBOILERPM or W911S215T3031.
