FY25 RedHat Enterprise Software License Subscriptions and Maintenance Support_Brand Name Justification

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard’s Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) has a requirement for continued RedHat Enterprise Software Licensing Subscription and Maintenance Support.

This justification is prepared for an exception to fair opportunity, indicating a need for brand-name software that is peculiar to one manufacturer.

Work Details
The USCG C5ISC requires the renewal of Red Hat enterprise software license subscriptions and maintenance support, which provides continued access to software upgrades, updates, security patches, and support as per Red Hat Technical Services Support Policy and Terms.

The anticipated task order (TO) value includes a one (1) year base period and four (4) one (1) year option periods with the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs):
- RH00004: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server, Standard (Physical or Virtual Nodes)
- MCT3691: Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Standard (100 Managed Nodes)
- RH00270: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Extended Life Cycle Support (Physical or Virtual Nodes)
- RH00271: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Extended Life Cycle Support (Unlimited Guests)
- RH00844: Red Hat Enterprise Linux for Virtual Datacenters with Satellite, Standard
- RH00846: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server with Satellite Standard (Physical or Virtual Nodes)
- RH02999: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (Version 6) Extended Life Cycle Support Add-On - Long-Life Offering
- MCT0840: Red Hat Certificate System (Starter Pack)

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at locations specified by the U.S. Coast Guard.
