FTQW 17-1017, REPAIR FIRE PUMP - Awarded

This solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.

Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska has a requirement for a Construction project, FTQW 17-1017 Repair Fire Pump.

Contractor is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision required to complete the following construction project, FTQW 17-1017 Repair Fire Pump. The general scope of work to be performed on Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. The purpose of this project is to design and construct a replacement of an inoperable fire pump. This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the Government's requirement for the design, removal, and replacement of fire pump located in B3426 at Eielson AFB. The Contractor shall provide a design and construction in accordance with this SOW. Once the design has been completed and accepted by the government, the Contractor shall demolish the existing fire pump and replace all components necessary to install a new fire pump.

Performance time will be 228 calendar days.

The estimated magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NACIS code is 236220, with a Small Business Size Standard of $39,500,000. This solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The Government is contemplating a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract.

Bid, Payment and Performance Bonds will be required.

This posting is for a Design Build Request for Proposal (RFP). Proposals must be valid for 120 days. Offerors are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this solicitation; all cost associated with responding to this solicitation will be solely at the interested party's expense.

It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The due date and time for submission of the bids is contained in the solicitation package. Paper copies will not be available. The entire solicitation, including the specification and/or drawings, are available only on the System for Award Management website at https://www.sam.gov.

SITE VISIT: A site visit will be conducted on 02 June 2022 at 2:00 PM AKDT, participants will meet at 2310 Central Ave Bldg 2258, Eielson AFB, Alaska 99702. Each prime contractor is allowed to bring two personnel. Please submit the names of the individuals that will be in attendance to SSgt Oliver Ancans at oliver.ancans@us.af.mil and Lisa Jenkins Fromm at lisa.jenkins_fromm@us.af.mil by 02:00PM AKDT on 30 May 2022. No questions will be taken over the phone. Those attending the site visit must follow all COVID-19 related guidance for Eielson AFB located on the public website https://www.eielson.af.mil/coronavirus/.

AN ADDITIONAL SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD 22 JUNE 2022 AT 1400 AT BLDG 3426. ANY QUESTIONS RESULTING FROM THIS SITE VISIT MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN 1600 ON 23 JUNE 2022. ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS SHALL BE PROVIDED BY 29 JUNE 2022.

Amendments answering questions and any other amendments will be posted as soon as possible after 8 June 2022. It is the offerors' responsibility to monitor the SAM.gov website to obtain amendments for this solicitation.

ONLY ELECTRONIC submissions will be accepted. Bids must be submitted via email on or before 14 July 2022 at 02:00PM AKST.
