F550 Truck Bed ABG Fabrication

SPECIFICATIONS SHEET This specifications sheet is for the purchase and installation of a Utility Truck bed, mounted to a 2022 Ford F550 4x4 Super Chassis XL with 168 inch wheelbase Chassis Cab truck equipped with a 6.7 liter Power Stroke diesel engine and 10 speed automatic transmission for the Florida Keys National Wildlife Refuge Complex (FKNWRC). This utility bed will allow the Refuge to haul a 20,000 lb gooseneck trailer for moving heavy equipment on and off the Refuge. Type of Contract: This is a Firm-Fixed Price commercial contract. Payment: Payments will be processed online through the Invoice Processing Platform System (IPP) at http://www.ipp.gov. Vendors must be enrolled and active in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov) to be eligible for contract award. Proposed Delivery Date: The proposed delivery date is 7/1/2023. Specifications: - Low profile bed must be designed for the listed truck in above description of this Spec Sheet - Cab to Axle length is 60" - Minimum length 9' 4", minimum width 98" - Black powder coated finish required - Integrated steel headache rack - Minimum six lockable tool cabinets - Required tool drawer configurations in front two tool cabinets, drawers must have heavy-duty ball bearing sliders - Required all steel construction to include 4" structural steel channel frame rails - Required tapered rear corners for increased turning radius - Drop down rear tail gate - Work lights required in rear of bed - 30,000 lb rated gooseneck hitch with required 7-way electrical plug - 18,500 lb rated bumper pull hitch - Required LED light package to include stop, turn, back up and tag lights. LED DOT lighting on clearance and marker lights - Installation per truck and bed manufacture specifications and in compliance with all DOT regulations and safety standards. - Vendor drop off location must be within 6 hours of 28950 Watson Blvd, Big Pine Key Florida. Vendors outside of this range will be required to pick up and return vehicle to 28950 Watson Blvd, Big Pine Key FL.
