Background
The National Park Service (NPS), Denver Service Center (DSC) is issuing a pre-solicitation notice for a competitive, total small business set-aside, firm-fixed-price contract for asbestos remediation services at Yosemite National Park. The Yosemite Valley Maintenance Building 527 (The Fort) requires abatement/remediation services of exposed asbestos insulated water pipes, cleaning of spilled chemicals, wet wiping of horizontal surfaces, ductwork cleaning, and air clearance testing. The building was evacuated in 2021 due to the presence of asbestos containing materials and a Hazardous Material Abetment Requirements Report (HMARR) identified the specific remediation tasks required to allow the NPS to safely resume operations.

Work Details
The scope of work includes abatement/remediation services for exposed asbestos insulated water pipes, cleaning of spilled chemicals, wet wiping of horizontal surfaces, ductwork cleaning, and air clearance testing at the Yosemite Valley Maintenance Building 527 (The Fort). The contract type is firm-fixed-price with an anticipated period of performance of 30 calendar days from contract award. Prospective offerors are required to have a Dun & Bradstreet DUNS number and active registration. The NPS DSC anticipates a pre-proposal conference and site visit after issuance of the formal RFP solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Small businesses, VOSB/SDVOSB, WOSB, SDB, and HUBZone concerns are encouraged to participate as subcontractors.

Anticipated period of performance is 30 calendar days from contract award.
