DOS - Facility Maintenance Training MRAS

The United States Department of State's Foreign Service Institute (FSI) is seeking a service contractor to provide facility maintenance hands-on proficiency training for facility management staff, technicians, and locally employed staff (LES) from embassies worldwide. The training will include a combination of classroom, lecture, self-study, and hands-on training to allow students to operate and troubleshoot actual equipment. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supplies, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for the training. The training will cover topics such as HVAC control principles, building automation systems (BAS), HVAC fundamentals, and electric power generation fundamentals.

The acquisition will be awarded through a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), which establishes the terms and conditions applicable to future purchases. The services are expected to be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) provided by the Department of State. The contractor will need to comply with security and safety requirements, provide all necessary tools and equipment for the training, and coordinate with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for post-award coordination.

The training will take place at facilities located within a 20-mile radius of Arlington Boulevard in Arlington, Virginia. The contractor will need to provide student support materials, including hardcopy and digital copies of course materials. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for verifying student competency and completion through written and performance-based testing. Certificates of Completion will be provided for successful participants.
