The purpose of this project is to perform service and maintenance on the Vertical Turbine Pumps of the Dissolved Oxygen Injection System in accordance with the requirements of the manufacturer's operations and maintenance documentation. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and tools to fulfill the requirements of this contract. The contract will include refurbishment of a total of nineteen (19) Vertical Turbine Pumps (VTP) for the Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Injection System facilities. Ten (10) are located at the Down River (DR) site and nine (9) are at the Up River (UR) site. This contract shall include removal of each pump from their installed location, transportation of the pumps to an off-site facility, disassembly, inspection, replacement of worn components, reassembly, transportation of the pumps back to the DO facilities, and reinstallation. The contractor shall be responsible to ensure that the plants are returned to the same operational condition they were at the time of removal. Background
The US Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District is seeking a contractor to perform service and maintenance on the Vertical Turbine Pumps of the Dissolved Oxygen Injection System. The contract includes refurbishment of a total of nineteen (19) Vertical Turbine Pumps for the Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Injection System facilities, with ten (10) located at the Down River (DR) site and nine (9) at the Up River (UR) site. The contractor is responsible for removal, transportation, disassembly, inspection, replacement of worn components, reassembly, transportation back to the DO facilities, and reinstallation of each pump. Specifications regarding each task required are detailed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Work Details
The tasks to be completed under the contract include removal and transportation of Vertical Turbine Pumps, refurbishment of various types of Vertical Turbine Pumps located at different sites, transportation and reinstallation of pumps, as well as initiating periodic contractor evaluations and providing overall guidance to the contractor when necessary. The contract also requires methods of surveillance and inspections to monitor the contractor’s performance, a quality assurance program and inspections to ensure compliance with contract specifications and safety requirements. The contractor will be evaluated on how well work is performed for each task described in the Performance Requirements Summary found in Attachment B.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from February 13, 2024, to February 12, 2025.

The contract work will be performed at various locations including Down River (DR) site and Up River (UR) site.
