Description

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), through the General Services Administration (GSA), is conducting market research to support the U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) Enterprise Wireless Communications Division (EWCD). This division is a part of the Office of Information and Technology's Enterprise Networks and Technology Support Directorate. The primary goal of this initiative is to ensure secure and reliable communications for law enforcement and border protection operations, which are critical to national security and public safety. The operational responsibilities include managing Land Mobile Radio (LMR) communications network infrastructure, providing continuous support to field agents, and maintaining LMR equipment at the National Law Enforcement Communications Center in Orlando, FL.


The scope of work for this contract involves a comprehensive range of services aimed at supporting the Tactical Communications (TACCOM) Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program.
