Description

Advanced Security Operations Center (ASOC) for cyber security services for the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO)
Background
The Department of the Interior (DOI), through its Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisition Services Directorate, is extending cybersecurity support services for its Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The goal is to protect DOI's information systems from evolving cyber threats.

Work Details
The contract involves providing cybersecurity support services for the OCIO's Advanced Security Operations Center (ASOC). Tasks include security incident response, critical infrastructure protection, integration with new technology and emerging threat management, and operating various security systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data loss prevention systems.

The contractor will also perform network and system-level forensics, operate secure web gateway solutions, and maintain security incident and event management systems.
