Background
The Army Contracting Command (ACC) - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Tobyhanna Division, is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential vendors capable of providing services for the removal and transportation of concrete slabs for disposal at Fort Meade, MD.

The goal of the contract is to support an upcoming project involving the de-installation and removal of an AN/FSC-78 Satellite Antenna.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide the following services:

(a) At least 48 hours' notice to provide flatbed trailers capable of transporting steel reinforced concrete slabs approximately 9 feet wide x 11 feet long, with thickness ranging from 12 to 30 inches. There will be a total of 8 trailer loads, each weighing up to 40,000 pounds.

(b) Responsibility for securing the concrete on the flatbed trailer, transporting it to a disposal area, and offloading it there.

(c) All costs and fees associated with the transportation and disposal of the concrete are to be borne by the Contractor. Additionally, the Contractor must ensure compliance with safety requirements, develop a safety plan, report any incidents promptly, and adhere to environmental compliance standards.
