Chemistry Analyzer and Reagents

The US Army Medical Command Medical Readiness Contracting Office -East intends to award a sole source fixed price contract for Chemical Analyzers under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii) sole source (including brand name) under the authority of Simplified Acquistion Procedures. The suggested source is Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc. 511 Benedict Avenue Tarrytown, NY 10591-5005.

Chemical Analyzers and the associated reagents are used to analyze blood. Hematology instruments accomplish blood counts, detect proteins and help diagnose illnesses using cost per reportable test or reagents. The estimated contract period of performance will be from 27 March 2023 through 26 March 2024.Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Inc., the incumbent contractor is the only responsible source that can provide the analyzers and reagents without a significant lapse in services.

This is not a request for proposal. However, companies that can provide an equal product must submit their technical capabilities to include technical specifications of their product, past performance, price and deliverytime. This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for consideration for future requirements.
