Background
The Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Environmental Management (EM), Carlsbad Field Office (CBFO) is seeking to enter into a Sole Source contract with Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Navarro), a small business, for the Carlsbad Technical Assistance Contract (CTAC).

This action is being taken under regulations that allow for contracts to be awarded when only one responsible source can meet the agency's requirements. The estimated value of this modification is not expected to exceed $65,000,000.

Work Details
The work under the Carlsbad Technical Assistance Contract (CTAC) includes providing technical assistance and support services related to environmental management activities at the Carlsbad Field Office.

Specific tasks may include remediation services as outlined in the Statement of Work, section F.3(d). The contractor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards while delivering professional support services.
