Description

Repair automobile frame and body damage and return unit to operational status to accomplish CBP Mission. There is an estimated amount of ten (10) vehicles needing repair per year. The contractors location cannot be more than 100 miles away from the Governments facility.

Background
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), specifically the Swanton Sector Border Patrol Station, is issuing this Request for Quotation (RFQ) to solicit Automobile Collision Repair Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure that damaged government vehicles are quickly returned to operational status, which is essential for accomplishing the CBP mission. The agency requires a reliable contractor who can provide these services efficiently, as current fleet card restrictions hinder timely repairs.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for repairing automobile frame and body damage to return vehicles to operational status. Key tasks include:

- Replacing and/or fully repairing all necessary components.
- Using only new genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts unless approved otherwise by the Fleet Manager.
- Ensuring quality workmanship and providing full warranty provisions as appropriate.
- Testing the functionality of all equipment repairs and certifying them prior to delivery.

An estimated ten (10) vehicles will require repair each year, with a delivery timeline of fully repaired vehicles within 60 days after receipt of a call order.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract will extend from the date of award through July 31, 2030.

Place of Performance
The contractor's location must not exceed 100 miles from the Government's facility in Swanton, Vermont.
