Description

This Sources Sought Notice is a means of conducting market research in accordance with FAR 5.101. The purpose of this notice is to identify potential sources who can provide an Automated Medical Dispensing Machine with Support Services for the Indian Health Service (IHS), Nashville Area Office (NAO), Mid-Atlantic Tribal Health Center in Charles City, VA.

The Government is seeking input to determine the availability of vendors who meet the definition of an Indian Economic Enterprise (HHSAR 326.601), and also/or sources that meet the small business size standards under the associated NAICS. The result of this market research will contribute in determining the method of procurement and acquisition strategy. This notice does not commit the Government to issue a solicitation or make an award.

Description of Supplies/Services: The Contractor shall provide an Automated Medical Dispensing Machine with Support Services. Refer to attached Statement of Work (SOW) for more detail and requirements.

Estimated Duration of Requirement: Equipment to be delivered within 90 days of contract award. Support Services to begin on date of delivery/installation for 12 months, plus four (4) option years.

Place of Performance: IHS Mid-Atlantic Tribal Health Center in Charles City, Virginia.

Instructions to Industry: All capable sources shall express written interest by responding to this sources sought notice via email to courtney.davis@ihs.gov with the following information:

1. Company name, address, email address, website address, telephone number, and business size/type (i.e., small business, 8(a), woman owned, veteran owned, Native American owned, etc.).

2. Company Point of Contact's Name, telephone number, and e-mail address.

3. System for Award Management (SAM) Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number, expiration, and registration status. All respondents must register on the SAM located at https://www.sam.gov.

4. Applicable company GSA Schedule number or other available procurement vehicle.

5. Interest/Capability Statement (no more than 1 page)

6. If American Indian/Native American owned business, then complete attached IEE Representation form.

*Responses must be submitted via email to the Primary POC no later than the specified closing date.

Confidentiality: No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).

Background
The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking to enhance healthcare delivery for newly federally recognized tribes by establishing comprehensive health care clinics and modular health stations.

This contract aims to procure an Automated Medical Dispensing Machine along with support services for the Mid-Atlantic Tribal Health Center located in Charles City, Virginia. The goal is to improve medication dispensing efficiency and accuracy in the pharmacy operations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide an Automated Medical Dispensing Machine with the following specifications and requirements:
- Updated answering systems with automated refill capability (IVR)
- Central automated platform for filling all prescriptions
- Five electronic signature pads
- Integrated software compatible with RPMP and EHR systems
- Use of barcode technology to ensure prescription security and accuracy
- Real-time tracking of pending and filled prescriptions
- Capability to maintain and print reports such as signature logs for audits
- Access to a comprehensive drug database for visual medication comparisons
- Management of exceptions, partial fills, and doctor authorizations consistently
- Management of will-call bins, patient pick-up reminders, and return-to-stock indicators
- Ability to locate and report information on pick-up medications quickly
- SP 50/CCC (6 slot) Robotic Prescription Dispensing System with 6 slot Collating Control Center
- Installation of electronic door locks for the robotic system
- Installation of a Robotic Cell Multiplexor for SPx00 Robots. The contractor must also provide installation, programming, testing, inspection, and documentation of the system's functionality.

Period of Performance
The equipment is expected to be delivered within 90 days of contract award. Support services will commence upon delivery/installation for a base year plus four option years.
