Army - Coach Academy - MRAS

On behalf of the United States Army, the General Services Administration (GSA) is conducting market research to support the Army Coaching Program (ACP). The primary goal of this initiative is to develop a tailored curriculum for the Army Coach Academy that aligns with the standards of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). This program aims to train and build a network of professionally certified Army Coaches who will enhance the development of both Civilian and Military personnel within the U.S. Army.

The work requested involves creating a comprehensive coaching curriculum that incorporates both synchronous (in-person) and asynchronous (independent) learning methodologies. The chosen contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, and services required for delivering high-quality coach training as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This includes tasks related to coaching, administration, surveys, training, and executive project management. The ultimate objective is to ensure that Army personnel receive ICF-recognized training that enhances their leadership capabilities and supports their career advancement.

The contractor's responsibilities include developing a course curriculum focused on growing certified Army Coaches according to ICF standards. This involves not only creating but also executing this curriculum by delivering it effectively to Civilian and Military participants. Furthermore, the program must establish an ICF Level 1 accredited framework that can be maintained by the Army for training future cohorts. By doing so, it seeks to bridge human resource needs with future talent goals within the organization.

Quality assurance is a critical component of this contract. The government will evaluate performance based on a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan designed to ensure adherence to established performance standards. This plan outlines how performance will be monitored, including surveillance frequency and acceptable defect rates. Through these efforts, the ACP aims to create a sustainable coaching ecosystem that empowers individuals across various levels of service in achieving personal and professional success.
