In accordance with FAR 5.2 this is a notice that DLA Land at Aberdeen anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a four (4) year, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract, with an estimated contract value of $22,000,000. The proposed action is for the items listed below:

The specific items being sought support sustainment and function of the AN/AVR-2B (V) Laser Detecting Set (LDS). These items are manufactured for military use only and a not commercial therefore, FAR part 15 will apply to this solicitation. This acquisition will not be set aside for small businesses. Goodrich Corporation, CAGE: 8F963, is the original equipment manufacturer. The Government does not own or have rights to a complete technical data package for release.

This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
