Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Aquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement consititutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. See attached Combined Synopsis/Solicitation, Performance Work Statement, and Wage Determination for detailed requirement information and instructions for responding to this Request for Quote.

Background
The Department of the Air Force, specifically the 377th Air Base Wing (AFGSC) at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, is seeking aircraft dismantling services for the 58 TRS. The purpose of this combined synopsis and solicitation is for the purchase of non-personal services for dismantling 2 aircraft. The requirement is a 100% Small Business set aside with a NAICS code of 488190 Other Support Activities for Air Transportation.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to dismantle two aircraft as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This includes removing wings, engines, and various components from the aircraft and transporting them to an off-base local recycling facility for scrapping. The period of performance shall be within 60 calendar days of contract award.

The work schedule will be coordinated with the 58 TRS point of contact. Additionally, recognized holidays are listed and the contractor is responsible for conducting business between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00.

Place of Performance
Delivery and acceptance will occur at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico.
