This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Army Contracting Command Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA). Located at 6501 E. Eleven Mile Road, Detroit Arsenal, MI 48397, intends to award a new five-year single award requirements contract to Allison Transmissions Inc. of Indianapolis, IN (CAGE code 73342). This requirement is for the estimated quantity of 396 new X1100 3B and / or 3B1 transmissions; quantity of 1,078 X1100 3B and / or 3B1 Transmission upgrades, quantity of 3,173 3B and / or 3B1 transmission parts kits, System Technical Support (STS), Inspect and Replace as Necessary (IRAN) parts, and Government Work Orders (GWO) to procure and/or maintain Government-owned equipment. For the proposed contract action, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A). This requirement is sole source to Allison Transmissions Inc. The solicitation W56HZV-21-R-0089 is expected to be posted during FY2021. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by ACC-DTA.
