Interpretive Signs Design - Graphics   2

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), part of the U.S. Department of the Interior, is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) for Graphic Design Services related to the Sundance Lodge and Four Dances Recreation Areas located along the Yellowstone River in Billings, Montana.

The project aims to enhance visitor engagement through interpretive signage that reflects the cultural and natural history of the area, which is significant due to its association with the Lewis and Clark and Nez Perce National Historic Trails.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for planning and designing new interpretive exhibits at Sundance Lodge and Four Dances Recreation Areas. The work includes:
- Developing graphic layouts for wayside exhibits based on existing research from the attached 'Sundance Lodge Recreation Area Interpretive Brief'.
- Synthesizing existing research, conducting additional research as needed, and interviewing staff, tribal representatives, and NGO partners to create meaningful interpretive media.
- The goal is to create signage that welcomes visitors, promotes understanding of cultural resources, provides accurate historical information, represents tribal perspectives, and identifies potential interpretation methods beyond the site itself.
