Background
The Boise VA Medical Center, part of the Department of Veterans Affairs, is seeking to procure five meal tray delivery carts to enhance their food service delivery capabilities. This contract is aimed at providing a non-personal commodity that meets specific operational needs within the medical center.

Work Details
The contractor is required to deliver five (5) meal tray delivery carts, specifically the Dinex Model No. DXPTQC1T2D16 or an equivalent product. The salient characteristics of the carts include:

- Sound dampening construction.
- Double door tray delivery cart with stainless-steel modular construction.
- Tray height spacing of 4-3/4" to 5-1/2" with a total capacity of 16 trays (1 tray per shelf).
- Heat release vented side panels to prevent moisture buildup.
- Standard corner or full-perimeter bumpers for protection.
- Gravity-locking or magnetic-closing insulated doors with noise suppression stops.
- Stainless steel hinges allowing a 270° door swing for easy access.
- Interchangeable rack system with adjustable sizing and noise reduction features, removable for deep cleaning.
- Noise reduction channel on side panels to prevent vibration during motion.
- 6" casters with noise suppression bearing covers, mounted in an offset pattern for smoother movement and equipped with at least two brakes.
- Must withstand high water temperatures and rigorous washings.
- Recessed handles or bars on either end for safe maneuvering.
