Generator Maintenance
Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking maintenance services for back-up generators at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital in Hines, Illinois. The period of performance for the contract shall not exceed 60 days after the award date.

Work Details
The contract includes mechanical maintenance tasks for seven back-up generators, including units in various buildings. The contractor is responsible for confirming the schedule with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), performing the work, and providing clean-up. Additionally, the contractor must submit a detailed schedule within 30 days of receiving the contract notice to proceed and prior to any onsite work.
The contractor must also adhere to all codes, standards, guidelines, and design requirements found in the VA’s Technical Information Library.

Period of Performance
The period of performance shall not exceed Sixty (60) days after contract award.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital (HINES VAH), 5000 South 5th Avenue, Hines, Illinois 60141.
