The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, on behalf of the Office of the Program Manager Maneuver Ammunition Systems, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, intends to solicit, negotiate and award a 5-year, sole source, firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with firm fixed price delivery orders, to General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems - Canada under the authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government anticipates releasing a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 31 July 2023. This contract is for the procurement of 5.56mm Short Range Training Ammunition (SRTA), M1037 and 7.62mm SRTA, M973 (Ball)/M974 (Tracer). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
