Overview
Description
The scope of work of the project are:
1. Provide and install new on/off station for pumps with light to indicate on/off status. Pump control
system shall be integrated with TFS and MCC system. System shall be selected in accordance with
UFC 3-460301, 4-4.1 j, 4-4.1.2 p, and 4-7.3
2. Provide Emergency Fuel Shutoff (EFSO) capability at the pump shelter, EFSO systems shall be
selected in accordance with UFC 3-460-01, 2-16, 4-4.1.2 m, and 4-7.3.1 e
3 . Repair electrical system. Replace all electrical systems within the pump shelter including all
conduit, wiring, control systems and fixtures, but excluding existing lightning fixtures.
4. Remove existing underground electrical conduits, wires, bracket supports and other related
accessories for 40 hp JP-5 pump and upgrade base on the new requirement 600 gpm.
5 . Replace existing rusted pvc coated conduit runs from annunciator panel up to the existing nema
4x pull box before will enter to berm for tank 31.
6 . Replace existing carbon steel pipping that is still present in the F-429.
7 . Replace existing 1200 & 600 gpm filter/separator in accordance with EI Spec 1581 (5th ed.) and
UFC 3-460-01, 4-4.1.2 d), 4-6.6
8 . Provide and install 8 inch, 1200 gpm and 4 inch, 600 gpm basket strainer in accordance with
UFC 3-460-01, 4-3.1.2 i), 4-6.4, 4-6.6.1 d) (9)
9. Replace 8 inch and 4 inch hydraulic operated diaphragm control valve in accordance with UFC 3-
460-01, 4-6.6.1 d) (3) and 4-6.10
10 . Provide and install appropriate pressure and thermal relief on most segments in accordance
with UFC 3-460-01, 4-3.1.2 j), 4-4.1.2 c), and 4-6.9.2
11 . Provide additional secondary piping and components in accordance with UFC 3-460-01, 4-3.1.2
and 4-4.1.2, including sample ports, pressure gauges, maintenance drains and vents
12. Repair or replace pipeline support following the standard details provided in UFC 3-460-01
13 . Replace existing pump P-5 which is API Std 610 centrifugal pump. Pumps must be selected in
accordance with UFC 3-460-01,
