Description
Carryout previously created marketing campaign & curriculum (to include social media) that uses the Fire is Everyone s Fight logo to promote campus fire safety. The goal of the campaign is to promote FIEF and teach students about marketing for behavioral change. Partner with a minimum of 8 higher education institutions in Fall and Winter Semesters.
Provide a report documenting the delivery of the FIEF campaign including any necessary revisions to the curriculum and evaluation tools that can be used by other higher education institutions to do similar campaigns on their campus. Report will follow all USFA and FEMA publication requirements including AP format, 508 compliance and U.S. Fire Administration style guidelines.
Task One: Engage 8 or more universities/colleges using either the FIEF Marketing Lesson Plan or with a more comprehensive semester-long engagement with USFA.
Task Two: Make any necessary revisions to the lesson plan and accompanying guides based on pilot program feedback. Execute program in Fall (4) and Spring (4) Semesters.
Task Three: Identify and engage National-level advocate and/or influencer partnerships (relevant to higher education audience) for social media platform message sharing.
Task Four: Assist universities/Fire Departments in participating in one sporting or other major campus event where Fire Prevention can be provided/demonstrated. Provide information using proven methods of drawing students interest.
Task Five: Place paid, or free social media ads (as appropriate) based on student-created marketing campaigns for 12 weeks after the universities complete their campaign/lesson.
Task Six: Provide a report documenting the delivery of the FIEF campaign. Include pre and post evaluation metrics to determine the effectiveness of the campaign. Compare pilot success to year two s success.
Task Seven: Adapt previously developed Higher-Ed Marketing Materials into an easily downloadable (from USFA Website) package of materials that fire departments can use to engage universities on their own.
Task Eight: Market, assist with implementation of the full FIEF Prevention Recognition/Program, and deliver physical (Max of 20 plaque or acrylic and challenge coin for each participant) and electronic FIEF prevention recognition awards to recipients (previously designed during pilot program).
Task Nine: Develop design for FIEF Magnet/Decal with QR Code and deliver 1,250-1,500 (based on final cost of design and if standard or special cut) to USFA (Intended for Fire/EMS Vehicle display).
