CONSTRUCTION RM19-0168 B11 REROOF & RENOVATE 2ND & 3RD FLOOR FOR PROJECT SPACE, SIOP, PHNS, JBPHH

Provide engineering and all relevant planning documents and execute the following projects for Bldg 11: (1) replace roof, (2) repair/replace A/C, and (3) improve 2nd and 3rd floors. This TF-1 consolidates both the existing re-roofing and A/C repairs/replacement projects and an additional project involving the 2nd and 3rd floor renovations. Scope of Work: (1) Replace Roof (Refer to WR 151811; approved CATEX attached) - Replace the existing corrugated metal roofing system, associated flashing, coping, gutters, and downspouts; and install a cool roof system. - Install rigid roof insulation to interior of roof. (see Retro-Commissioning Investigation Report) (2) Repair/Replace A/C (Refer to WR 152048; "Retro-Commissioning Investigation Report for Radiological Control Building [Building 11] Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility [PHNSY&IMF], Hawaii" prepared by AMEL Technologies, Inc. and dated July 10, 2014) - Install a variable frequency drive (VFD) on air-handling unit (AHU)-1. - Install VFDs on AHU-3A and AHU-3B (AHU-3A and AHU-3B were replaced without VFDs in 2015). - Repair structural integrity of outdoor ducts of AHU-1. - Remove exhaust fan and install fresh air ducted fan coil unit to C/105.3 office space. - Replace chilled water piping, chilled water shut-off valve, and three-way valve. - Replace pressure and temperature ports and drain chilled water pipe. - Replace chiller with energy efficient equivalent. - Prepare NEPA documents. (3) Renovate 2nd and 3rd Floors - Renovate office areas of the 2nd and 3rd floors of Bldg 11 for C/300, C/350 SPPG, and/or C/250.3 personnel. - According to C/300, the 2nd floor of Bldg 11 will need ...
