Description
This project will replace or repair 31 major aids to navigation in the ANT San Francisco AOR. The structures are located across the bay area, covering Bodega Bay, Sacramento, Stockton, Redwood Creek, and waterways in between. The type of work involved for ATON structures includes replacing existing 1 or 3 pile steel structures with a new steel or wood structure and a 5 x5 or 7 x7 platform. Fiber reinforced polymer piles should also be implemented where applicable for corrosion avoidance and increased longevity of ATON structure. All piles will be driven with vibratory hammer.
